    In my younger years it seemed to me that repentance was a one time act. Then after this act of turning from your sins all that was required was to live in such a way as to not sin any more,”legalism” not realizing that sin is an every day practice showing our need of daily repentance. This quote expresses well the fact that our repentance is infinite malignity, and of demerit due because it’s still tainted with our sin. I think the question should be asked at this point is, ‘Do we have that deep consideration of our sins so to walk in daily repentance? ‘If so, may we continue to be convicted, so to repent. Very good quote from John Colquhoun!
