Identified with sinful man was the very God.  He received the fatal stroke of Divine judgment.  Becoming sin for His people caused separation from His Father.  The Holy eyes of God were too pure to look upon what Jesus became (sin for us).  This resulted in abandonment by His Holy Father.  It was then that the Glory of Heaven cried, ‘Eli, Eli, lama sa-bach-tha-ni?’  My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me?  ‘Crucified, dead, and buried—such was the passion of God’s annointed.  (Isa. 53: 1-2; Matt. 26:57-68;  Isa 52. 14;  Matt.27: 27-31; & 33, 46).  (Author not noted)
