“It is but little that we can know of his works, but that little should teach us to be humble, and to admire the divine power and goodness.  How great must that Being be who produced these immense globes out of nothing,  who regulates their courses, and whose mighty hand directs and supports them all.”  (Christopher Christian Sturm  1750)

In light of this quote, I assume that it is speaking of creation when saying of “His works”. What’s humbling about this quote is that it helps point to the truth that’s found in Romans 1:19-20. Even for those who say that there is no God will be without excuse,’so in the great design of things, unbelievers if honest with them selves should give homage to some degree to His power and goodness.
