As this quote reflects, it is absolutely theologically suppressing the truth of holy writ, ‘that is to say, it gives a very strong impression of relativism, that when we have had our uncertainty and perplexed condition sedated by “trying to find something” instead of looking at the one truth of scripture, then it must be ok to take our stand and find rest. My question is,’What is that something that we are so certain of to take a stand on? Is it something of truth that is inherently within, or outside of our selves that we should be looking for?
